Do You Provide Product Samples before Placing Bulk Orders?

2025-11-25

Yes — we do provide product samples before placing bulk orders. Here are the typical details and process for obtaining a sample from Jialecheng Foods:

 Sample Offer Details

  • You can request a sample of the filling (e.g., classic winter melon paste or a flavored variant) to evaluate quality, texture, and suitability for your product line.

  • Sample size is normally sufficient for a bakery test run (e.g., 1 kg or 2 kg).

  • We can prepare a sample with standard specification parameters (moisture, viscosity, flavour) or tailor a sample variant if you have specific needs (e.g., lower-sugar, local flavour).

  • Sample shipping cost may be borne by the buyer, or applied as a credit against your first bulk order.

 How to Request a Sample

  1. Contact your sales manager or email our export department with:

  • Product filling type you are interested in (e.g., winter melon + pandan flavour)

  • Purpose of use (e.g., mooncakes for Mid-Autumn, bakery buns for SE Asia)

  • Delivery address and expected timeline for testing

  • Approve the sample cost or shipping fee (if applicable).

  • Once sample is approved, we will send you:

    • A sample pack with full product spec sheet (moisture, Brix, texture, allergens)

    • Packaging label matching the bulk version for your QC and marketing review

  • After you receive the sample:

    • Test it in your production line (e.g., fill into pastry mould, bake/steam)

    • Evaluate texture, colour, bloom, flavour retention, stability

  • Provide feedback and confirm your bulk order specifications:

    • If you are satisfied, we can proceed to bulk contract

    • If modifications are needed (flavour, sweetness, viscosity), we can revise and send a second sample

     Why Samples Matter

    • They allow you to validate bake-stability, especially under your own process conditions (oven temperature, bun steam time, freezing, etc.).

    • They let you check colour, texture and mouth-feel — key in consumer-facing bakery goods.

    • They provide peace of mind — before committing to larger volumes and production runs.
